November 25, 2023 - Ukrainian streetwear brand Syndicate has launched its first drop of the new autumn collection. The concept behind this collection revolves around the notion of agelessness, eternal youth, respect, and the strong connection between generations.

The core theme of the collection is blurring the lines between generations and deconstructing the very concept of age in society. Brand got the inspiration from Eastern Europe 1980s fashion, which was favored by the previous generation, as well as the street culture that’s currently thriving among the youth. Syndicate emphasizes the profound influence different generations have on shaping our style and trends. This influence runs deeper than we might think, and Syndicate's new drop pays homage to it.

Ira Vasylevska, the creative director of Syndicate, shares, "I was born and have spent most of my life in Kyiv. Is this city old or young? It has a rich history, but at the same time conveys the spirit of endless youth. My father became my inspiration for this collection. He never really thought about his style while always looking impeccably neat, wearing classic shirts and trousers, with comfort as his top priority. This collection is inspired by my dad."

Both concepts are reflected in the collection's pieces. From the "parents," the brand incorporates classic silhouettes merged with contemporary cuts and oversized forms from the "youth." The first drop of the collection features over 20 items, including wide-legged cargo-style trousers, double shirts, and T-shirts with acidic prints. Additionally, upcycling techniques are used in the collection, with vests made from pre-loved fabrics. Within the collection it was a chance to give the cloth new life and make it timeless.
