Syndicate Kyiv is launching a limited-edition drop of Hand Knitted Accessories, each with a story worth telling
This small social project is about those we often overlook. The accessories are hand-knitted by elderly people who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances. We wanted to give them the opportunity to turn their hobby into an income — and to feel that their work truly matters. This is an ongoing initiative that grew out of a very personal story. In 2020, we began collaborating with the grandmother of our colleague Vovchik, who at that time was living in Mariupol — and this marked the beginning of our tradition of supporting people whose craftsmanship deserves recognition. Each item is unique. Created by the hands of grandmothers for whom this has become more than just an activity, but a way to support themselves and preserve their skills. It is a small gesture of support that can change someone’s today.
