SNDCT x Masha Reva Magazine

The Kyiv Lux project is accompanied by a self-published zine of the same name, created by Masha Reva. Expanding on the collection’s context through visual references and personal narratives, the publication features campaign photographs by Margaryta Fal, photographs by Masha Reva and Oleg Batrakov, as well as interviews with the campaign’s protagonists, who share stories about their lives and sources of inspiration.

The campaign was photographed by documentary photographer and Frontliner reporter Margaryta Fal, based on a creative concept developed by Baby Prod. The protagonists of the campaign are young people, most of whom live in Kyiv, work in creative fields, and have their own unique perspectives on the city. For many of them, as for artist Masha Reva herself, Kyiv has become a new home. Some participants relocated from eastern regions of Ukraine close to the front line, while others came from cities that are currently under temporary occupation.

Profits from the sale of the zine will be donated to an ongoing fundraising initiative supporting our friends serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
